The best time to do maternity session is around 30 to 36 weeks. At this stage the belly bump is showing nicely and it is not too close to the due date. Earlier than 30 weeks the stomach might not be as round and it might not show properly in the photos. Sometimes the session happens later like in this fun Maternity session with a toddler. However, usually our clients book maternity sessions around 30-36 weeks for the most part.

Home and Studio Location

The maternity session can take place at the comfort of your home or at one of our natural light studio locations in Frisco or Plano. Usually couples like to combine an indoor location, such as their  home and then continue outdoors weather permitting. Doing a session at home provides additional benefit as this is where the baby will be coming home to and will include photos of the nursery. We provide Maternity and newborn bundle packages for all client.
